My wife and I both enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere at the Seafood Grotto. The restaurant is designed to look like the inside of an underwater cave with a beautiful salt water aquarium as the centerpiece.
For dinner, my wife started with the Lobster Salad. I have to admit that I grabbed a couple bites from it myself because it looked so good. For her main course, she went with the Cioppino and thought the tomato based broth had a nice balance of spiciness and sweetness. It included generous portions of everything that you would expect in Cioppino including scallops, crab, mussels, clams and shrimp.
Because I'm a sushi fan, I decided to have their sushi sampler that included salmon, yellowtail and tuna. In addition to that, I ordered a spicy tuna hand roll. Everything was very good but I wish they had a wider selection of sushi and a more specialized selection of sushi rolls.
If you like seafood or enjoy sushi, you won't be disappointed when you visit the Seafood Grotto at the Pechanga Resort Hotel and Casino.
