My wife and I have been to many of the wineries in Temecula in the past, but we've never taken the shuttle that's provided by Grapeline. Now that I've taken advantage of Grapeline's shuttle service, I don't think I would tour Temecula's wine country any other way.
Our driver and tour guide picked us up at the front door of the Pechanga Casino at 11am along with 7 other guests. We were given a brief explanation about the wineries that we were going to visit and off we went.
Once we arrived at the first winery, we all went to the wine tasting room together and used the wine tasting tickets that were provided by Grapeline to sample 5 or 6 different wines.
After a half an hour or so, our guide rounded us up and introduced us to an employee of the winery that took us on a special tour through their facility. During the 20 minute tour, he showed us how wine is made, provided samples and showed us a few wine tasting techniques.
By the end of the day we visited 5 different Temecula Wineries. One winery wasn't even part of the tour, but our driver made special arrangements when he overheard one of us talking about it. It was very nice that we didn't have to worry about driving or anything else for that matter. It was all planned out and it made for a very enjoyable and relaxing day.
If you're staying at the Pechanga Resort, Embassy Suites or any other major hotel in Temecula, be sure to set aside one day and take the tour provided by Grapeline. It's worth every penny.
