[Introduction by Bill Elgin] When you stay at a high-end luxury hotel, you have to expect high minimums on the gaming tables. Because of that, I prefer to stay somewhere that offers elegance, but lower table minimums such as
The Golden Nugget. Because Laura enjoys the extra attention and service that a hotel such as Bellagio provides, I've asked her to contribute her review about Bellagio to All Vegas Guide...
The
Bellagio Las Vegas is probably one of the most, if not the most, luxurious hotel on The Strip. We have been fortunate enough to stay there a couple of times over the past three years. I cannot express how much I enjoy staying at Bellagio. The staff has always been very courteous and does not seem to mind going the extra mile to ensure a pleasurable experience for guests. The rooms are spacious compared to other hotels and offer a picturesque view of the Las Vegas Strip. The beds are triple sheeted and the pillows are softer than comparable pillows made of down. I would highly recommend paying for a lake view room upgrade in order to observe the water show. The music for the show can be heard in the room by tuning into a pre-set channel on the television.
Although, we have indulged in some of the restaurants and bars in the Bellagio, my favorite remains the Petrossian Bar. Located near the lobby, the bar offers an open air dining experience, well, as open as you can get being located inside. Its a perfect place to relax and watch guests amble through the casino and artfully decorated lobby. My husband and I enjoyed Oestra caviar along with a sampling of several different vodkas.
