Release Date: July 29, 2004
Little Buddha Restaurant and Sushi Bar at the Palms Casino Resort continues to tantalize taste buds with a new three-course meal every month. The "Menu of the Month" offers guests the chance to order outside the regular menu and explore new and exotic dishes.
The August "Menu of the Month" features an appetizer consisting of Chicken and Peanut Thai Salad Lettuce Wrap, an entrée of Grilled Swordfish with Soy and Ginger Sauce over Baby Pak Choi and for dessert, Mixed Sorbets. All dinners are served with a glass of Ca'Montini wine. The Little Buddha August "Menu of the Month" is $42.00 per person.
"We've found our guests are always up for something new," said Little Buddha General Manager Shelly Galloway. "The menu of the month gives our guests the opportunity to sample exciting new recipes that follow the same genre as our regular menu, but are different each month."
A different wine is paired with each menu giving customers a chance to sample a variety of wines from Little Buddha's extensive new wine list, which currently features 60 wines.
Little Buddha offers unique Asian cuisine along with traditional Chinese dishes with a dash of French influence. The restaurant, known for its extravagant interior, features three dining areas decorated in opulent, Asian-inspired themes, including a 10-seat sushi bar. The domed main dining room and back room are adorned with two massive Buddha statues. The entry tower showcases numerous gold Buddha statues from floor to ceiling. The restaurant also includes eclectic international music and sounds.
Like it's sister restaurant, the award-winning Buddha Bar, Little Buddha is now featuring a resident DJ every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Resident DJ Shoe spins world music starting at 9:00 p.m.
Little Buddha is open Sunday through Thursday 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 5:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. For reservations call 942-7778.
