Palms Casino Resort Welcome the Grand Opening of the Hart and Huntington Tattoo Company
Las Vegas' hottest resort is about to make its mark on you!

The Hart and Huntington Tattoo Company will host its Grand Opening at the Palms Casino Resort on February 25, 2004. This will be the first tattoo salon in a casino.

The masterminds behind the venture with Palms Casino Resort Owner, George Maloof are freestyle motorcross legend Carey Hart and the country's premier nightclub promoter John Huntington. Carey Hart is an Extreme Sports Motocross Athlete, and participates in events like the X-Games. John Huntington is a nightclub promoter. His credits include producing four of the largest parties in America including Club Rubber and the Pimp ‘n Ho Costume Ball.

The Tattoo Company will have three state-of-the-art tattoo stations. Guests may choose from the "flash" or pre-drawn artwork on the walls or they may customize their own design to fit their personal style. A private guest station is also available. Customers may book their tattoo reservations by calling Palms Guest Services at (702) 942-7040.

The shop will have a "lounge" feel complete with a custom sound system and comfortable seating. On occasion, a DJ will be featured in the shop as well as some of the countries premier tattoo artists. The shop also will showcase a "Wall of Fame" featuring celebrities receiving tattoos.

The salon will feature eight of the top tattoo artists in the world including the following artists listed below.

Dejah has been a tattoo artist for six years. She studied as an artist under the apprenticeship of Jason Grant at Trust Tattoo in Arizona. In addition to the art of tattoo, she paints murals and practices other mediums of art. Her favorite type of tattoo includes colors, realism and tattoos that flow and compliment the body. Dejah has been living in Orange County for the past few years and has worked at O.C. Ink, Sick and Twisted and Skinworks. She is also certified to do permanent cosmetics under Susan Church. Dejah respects the technical aspect, art and history of tattooing.

Ben Corn has been tattoo artist for seven years. Ben aspired to be an art teacher, but after attending college, local artist Roger Blankenship of Almost Brothers Tattoo offered Corn an apprenticeship after seeing some of his artwork. Corn studied under Blankenship for two years and then began to work with Bill Carlson of Big Bear Tattoo. While working with Carlson, Corn began to refine his work while sharing his time at Body Graphics Tattoo. Corn has had the privilege of tattooing many celebrities and professional athletes. Big, bold, gray and traditional Japanese tattoos are his favorite styles.

Brian Abbott has been a tattoo artist for ten years. He started in San Luis Obispo at Otherworld Tattoo and then later refined his work in Oregon at Traditional Tattoo and Addictions. His favorite styles of tattoo artwork are new school, bright colors, portraits, custom artwork and large pieces. Abbott has several tattoos however what is unique about his tattoos is that they are not located on his arms.

Thomas Pendelton has been a tattoo artist for twelve years. He has used art as an escape and his life's driving force since the age of four. He started his career after an apprenticeship at "The World Famous Bert Grimm's" tattoo parlor under a well respected tattoo artist named Rick Walters. He has worked in the most popular shops in the industry including Kari Barba's Outer Limits and Erick Maaske's Classic Tattoo. Thomas also enjoys others mediums of art including sculpting airbrushing, set design and computer graphics.

Hart and Huntington also have joined forces with Paul Gomez and F.E.A. Merchandise to take the shop's merchandising campaign worldwide. With the help of Gomez and F.E.A, Hart and Huntington Tattoo Company merchandise - - including T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and an entire girls line - - will have distribution in over 3,000 clothing stores and specialty shops across the country and internationally.

Planned hours of operation are 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight, Sunday through Wednesday and 12:00 noon to 4:00am, Thursday through Saturday. Hours are subject to change.
