The Aladdin Resort Hotel and Casino Press Release

Mega-Illusionist Steve Wyrick Magically Appears
World Renowned Magician Headlines at the Aladdin
Release Date: March 30, 2005

Aladdin Resort & Casino is proud to headline the award-winning, world-renowned megaillusionist Steve Wyrick, as he pulls out all the stops for his acclaimed performances of “Steve Wyrick: Mind Blowing Magic.”

Awarded with highest honors as “Magician of the Year,” by the International Magicians Society, Wyrick stands at the forefront of a new generation of illusionary artists in Las Vegas. He defies boundaries and the imagination with his signature larger-than-life illusions.

“During my performances, the audience experiences an up-close, captivating style of over-thetop magic,” said Wyrick. “I’ve designed a show like no other, one that takes every guest center stage – no matter where they are – on my amazing, spell-binding journey of elusive mystery, intense music and mind-blowing magic.”

Wyrick performs some of the most imaginative and mind-blowing illusions anywhere, but his personal touch is what makes this show unforgettable. Building off his earliest magic experiences in street performance, Wyrick connects one-on-one with selected guests in the intimate setting of the Steve Wyrick Theatre, allowing audience members to be as close as they can handle for the ride their life.

Wyrick performs many of the mega-size illusions that made him famous, as well as many new over-the-top illusions that leave audiences in awe. His biggest illusions include: “The Largest Illusion in Las Vegas” – a real twin-engine Beechcraft Baron 58 airplane appearing out of nowhere; a motorcycle disappearing mid-air and reappearing in the audience; a Hummer H2 suddenly appearing on a sheet of glass; Wyrick escaping a 30-foot “death crane” that hovers over the audience; and going out to the Strip for some radical slight-of-hand, close-at hand magic, while live cameras capture all the action for entire theatre audience to see.

Since the age of 14, Wyrick has been wowing audiences and winning accolades for his unconventional brand of magic. He continues to make his mark in magic the world-over with numerous television specials and performances seen around the world.

Steve Wyrick’s Magic Shop, located directly outside the theatre, offers slight-of-hand tricks and magic kits for all ages. T-shirts, jackets, hats and other logo merchandise are also available.

Steve Wyrick defies imagination nightly at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m., dark Fridays, in the Steve Wyrick Theatre.
