Las Vegas Tips and Advice

If you don't like crowds, don't go to Las Vegas on New Year's Eve or during any major conventions. Heck, I even try to avoid Las Vegas on the weekends because I like it when it's less busy.
The two weeks before Christmas is the best time to visit Las Vegas if you like to visit during the slowest time of the year. However, you should know that many of the shows are dark during that time.
If you like to get the most out of your money while you're in Las Vegas, make sure you sign up for your casinos player rewards program. You can often get free rooms, free buffets, free show tickets, etc. depending on how much you gamble.
If you have a players reward card, don't be afraid to ask the pit boss in the section you are playing for a comp buffet. They very seldom say no.
When you play blackjack, always use Basic Blackjack Strategy to lower the house advantage to less than 1%.

Be sure to visit the many free shows and activities throughout Las Vegas.

The Strip Trolley is a good way to travel up and down The Strip. The new monorail opening in early 2004 should be an even better way to travel because it goes all the way from the airport to downtown with several stops at key locations in between.
There are many unique attractions in Las Vegas that you may really enjoy that you may not know exist.
